Found they loosened up after the first wash but not so they didn't fit. Purchase a size based on hip measurements rather than "your normal size". The online size guide could be improved and easier to follow including hip measurement rather than waist or bust as it seems to do on the the actual item page. The packaging it comes in has hip measurements to sizing.

This was my first time buying boxers online. I am pleased to say that these are a great pair of boxer briefs.
